About the event

The evocative monastery of Badia di Pattano becomes the original stage where the italian-colombian artist Joan Thiele will perform.

A charming journey from pop to urban atmospheres and vintage sonorities to discover the last work of the producer and artist, Atto II – Disordinato Spazio, it’s composed of Tuta Blu and Scilla. Like in a proper theatre, the bucolic location will merge with the urban performative skills of the artist, breaking through the dichotomy countryside-city.

We remind you that to access the event it will be necessary to have a green pass.

PARKING INFO

JOAN THIELE

Joan Thiele is a singer-songwriter and producer, half italian and half siwss and colombian. She grew up in Cartagena and Italy and, since childhood, she has lived nomadic absorbing sonorities from all over the world.
After the end of high-school, she moved to London, where she nurtured her passion for music and, moreover, developed a proper great personality as an artist.
In 2016 , she released her first EP anticipated by the singles Save Me and Taxi Driver. In february 2017 she was selected by Radio Rai Due as representative of Italy in Groningen on the occasion of the Festival EBBA Eurosonic Norderslag 2017 and, in 2018, she published the album Tango. In 2020 she published, for Undamento/Universal Music Operazione Oro, her first EP in italian, a journey from pop / R&B and soundtracks. The record was conceived after finding old videos of family trips, for which she arranged her own original soundtrack. Operazione Oro is an elegant and fresh record, where the urban atmosphere coexists with arrangements from older times, from tradition to experimentation. In 2021 she also published for Undamento, two chapters of the new project: “Atto I – Memoria del Futuro” and “Atto II – Disordinato spazio”.

GRAND RIVER
